	The most important Service that we can ever provide you is to tell you the TRUTH. Some of you have been lied to so many times that you have begun to take the cynical view of the world and assume that "If their lips are moving, then they are lying." This is not always true. And we also have to learn to tell the difference between not understanding what we are being asked and the intentional lie. Syntropy is a Christian-Based Company and if we do anything at all, we do our best to do all to the Glory of God. Foremost in this is to tell our customers the truth. We aren't going to tell you that if you put up a website that it will suddenly make your company famous or that we can guarantee that you will be always found on the various search engines exactly where and when you want to be found. You have already heard promises like this and realize their shallowness. For example: It is quite common for a company to send you an email telling you that if you will only sign up with them, they will "Optimize Your Site" and suddenly you will show up in the top ten on searches for your product or service. Well, if they promise that to 11 companies and were even able to do it, then one of those companies would find it to be a lie. When the Web (as we know it today) was young and search engines were young, then it was relatively easy to be found. Now it is hard, for there are (literally) BILLIONS of web pages out there. If you produce something rare, like BOOMERANGS, then it is possible that you might be easier to find. However, if you sell jewelry, are involved in music, sell rubber products or even build websites for a living, then you find yourself in a "SEA" of competition and the only way you can possibly GUARANTEE a consistent high ranking or positioning on a search engine is literally to advertise with them, which they will gladly offer you. However, what we do is to build you a website that is consistent with (1) good taste, (2) high visibility to the methods that the search engines use and (3) visually pleasing to you and your customers. By building you a good site that is easily visible with certain "keywords" to the search engines and BY YOU actually promoting yourself by having your web address on every piece of literature that you hand out (business cards, letterhead stationery, envelopes, flyers, phone book ads, promotions—AND Word Of Mouth!!!), then you will have a great amount of success. Many of the search engines purposefully make it virtually impossible to actually figure out a scheme that will consistently position you at the top of their listings. If you EVER completely figure out the search engines, do yourself a favor. Don't tell anybody, but instead, go into the website business (preferably as our partner) and you can charge your customer a serious fortune for your knowledge. Of course, as soon as the search engines find out what you are doing, they will change their methodology.
		SERVICES THAT WE PROVIDE				DESCRIPTIONS / EXPLANATIONS
		"Free Web Sites"				These websites are strictly a promotional item from our point of view. We do our best to build these small sites just as fancy as ANY of the larger sites. They are just smaller. First: "The Disclaimer" We charge ALL of our customers a monthly "Hosting/Maintenance Fee" of $25/month (up front) no matter whether you have an 800 page site or a single-page site. So that part isn't free. However, as we have consistently stated, our "Hosting/Maintenance Fee" entitles you to UNLIMITED CHANGES to your web pages. Do you understand what that means? What other company offers that to you??? If you want to add photos to a page, change text on a page, change links on a page, then it is free. This does NOT entitle you to a complete "makeover" of your website in order to change the basic style of your site. Hey...that's REAL work!!! But we are on your side and offer you free unlimited changes. NOW.................... What does this "Free Site" include? It used to be a single-page website with a contact form on that page, but we always have our name on the site and decided that if we want to "look good," then we didn't want that contact form on the Home Page. Therefore, we split the site up into 2 pages. The FIRST PAGE is basically your site. We are going to put everything that you would like to tell the public on this page. We do all of the graphics free, we do any photo-editing for free, we do all layout work for free and even answer your questions for free. Because it is free. We only expect you to pay that "Hosting/Maintenance Fee." Hey, we DO make a very small profit off of it and after a few hundred of these it does begin to add up! But our real intention is getting our own message of consistent reliability out there to the public and this promotion is a valuable tool. Besides, about half of our customers who get a site like this eventually want to upgrade it and add some pages. Then we can make a little money. However, there is no pressure on you to ever add pages. That is strictly up to you. On some of our "Free Sites" you might notice some "Pop-Up Pages" and say to yourself that, "Hey, that's more than 2." This shows how willing we are to help those who help us. If adding a pop-up of a thumbnail on your site makes more sense, then chances are that we will do it for nothing as well—especially if, when you ask us to put it on there, you really make it easy to us to do it, so that it doesn't take us a lot of time. We only have 24 hours in our days too. Below you will find a good example of one of these "Free Sites." 		Free Client and Web-Based email				If you have a domain name, then we will give you a "reasonable" amount of free POP3 email accounts and we also have the ability to provide web-based email so that you can check your email from anywhere in the world—even if you don't have your own computer, but are at a Starbucks or somewhere where they are providing computers. In the "Internet World" email is "tied" to your domain name. A domain name is like... "www.coca-cola.com" or "www.ibm.com". It is an identifier that you have registered. WE will be perfectly happy to register you one at no extra charge to you (other than the fact that you do have to pay the registrar for it. They don't give out domain names for free. They are DIRT CHEAP, but it isn't quite free!) We can then locate it on our servers and keep track of it for you. We currently manage GOBS!!! We also can provide "Aliases" or "Forwarding email Addresses." These are pseudonyms whereby somebody types in an email address, but it doesn't "stop" but just keeps on going to your already established email address. For instance, you might want: supersalesman@yourcompany.com to go to your regular email of george@aol.com or something like this. This is easy and we don't charge for this. HOWEVER, IF.................... You don't have a domain name and don't want one, we can put your website under one of our various domains and still give you one free POP3 email account. In other words, say you don't wish to register a real domain name and instead, your website address is: http://www.forsee.com/yourcompany then we can still give you an email address like: jackandjill@forsee.com and won't charge you a cent. All we ask is that you do "empty the trash" and keep your email from piling up on our servers. But we will teach you how to do that.
		Domain Name Registration				In the paragraph above, we already explained that, but want to emphasize it here. It is quite advantageous (and CHEAP!!!) to get a domain name. It makes your business look more professional and we will be glad to help you get one and to do all of the paperwork to get it going at no charge to you. You DO have to pay the registrar (what those people are called who sell these domain names, as they used to be an arm of the federal government) for the name. However, it is quite cheap. It can vary, but we always register with Network Solutions, as we have found them to give the BEST service in the industry and 5 years from them is $99.95, which is only $19.99 per year. We told you it is cheap. They will send out a notice of when it is time to renew and that is also easy to do.
		"Non Free Websites"				This is our main business and we specialize in providing you with the kind of care that you are not likely to find with any other website company. While it is true that we will be giving you our prices on our Quote Page, it is also true that we are going to quote you right here and now. You will find that we don't hide things and prefer to ALWAYS have EVERYTHING up-front and above-board. For the multiple page websites we charge $250 per page. And yes, you can have that first page for free, as we have almost never built a website where we didn't wind up giving away some pages. Usually our reasons are sufficiently "selfish" as we like to look good OURSELVES and if you look good, then we look good. And sometimes, well, it just needed to be spread out a little to make a better website. As long as the idea was ours, then we shouldn't charge you for adding another page. You didn't ask for it, but we knew that you really needed it. Talk to any of our many customers and you will find that this is the norm for us. So, in reality you wind up getting a site for less than that page price, but we still use it as a reference. Oh, and don't forget: We still charge that $25/month "Hosting/Maintenance Fee" which also entitles you to those UNLIMITED CHANGES to your web pages. This really comes in handy for you. And yes, we charge it every year. We have to pay our hosting service to host our sites and so, like them, we charge every year. By then, we hope that you will have discovered how much you love Syntropy and so you will gladly pay for the next year of hosting.
		Photography and Photo-Editing TO TOP				On most websites there are going to be a lot of photographs. At least WE HOPE SO!!! The web as we know it, didn't even become popular until sites started getting photographs. We will be glad to take your photographs, when you send them to us as attachments, and do all of the proper photo-editing and there is no charge for this. If your business is close to us and we can afford it, we will even be happy to come over to your place and take photos at no charge. (Be Fair!!!) If you are a long distance away and the site is expensive, then we might just be coaxed into flying to your place and taking photos. However, most of you are pretty good photographers and can take some nice shots and just send them to us. If you send an airplane to pick us up at the airport and a chaffeured limosine and provide free food and lodging, and a big stipend, then you can probably get away with naming your time!
		E-Commerce Sites				Currently the type of e-commerce websites that we are building use the PayPal® shopping cart and we will be glad to do the programming required and also teach you how to set up the proper accounts, etc., but we will need to know the scope of your site in order to provide you with a quote for the monthly fee, as it is (by its own nature) going to have to be somewhat higher. However, the PayPal® shopping cart is quite secure and is an excellent way of building a website with online selling characteristics and we have a lot of experience doing this. On this site we have hundreds of Pop-Up photos where you can buy 3 different sizes of photos using the PayPal® secure shopping cart. It works like a charm.
